ASCENT is dedicated to enhancing community well-being through certifying competent practice managers and corporate managers going into the ENT office. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to assist with administering the Certification in Otolaryngology Practice Management (COPM) to our program participants. The COPM certification is a valuable certification that tests competency in ENT Practice Management. The Advisory Board steers the program, reviews the competencies, evaluates test questions, and provides administrative oversight of the certification program. (Must be COPM certified to volunteer). The COPM Advisory Board also assists Education with their roles and responsibilities.
Time Commitment: Monthly 1 hour meeting and at least one hour of assigned duties between meetings. The Board usually spends 4 days of meeting in the winter in order to map out the year, write and review test questions, review all materials, work on the annual meeting content, etc.
